Old Testament Isagogics I

OTI is a general introduction to the questions of the canon and text of the Old Testament, addressing topics such as:

1. Authorship; 

2. Time of composition; and, 

3. Purpose; 

4. Content and nature of the books of the Pentateuch, with attention to questions of Pentateuchal Criticism; and, 

5. Authorship, time of composition, purpose, content and nature of the Prophets (Former and Latter) and the Writings. 

The course pays special attention to Messianic prophecy throughout the Old Testament.
